Diaper Derby
Do you have a little speedster? The Diaper Derby is your chance to show off your little one and win great prizes! Wichita BabyFare diaper derby guarantees to be fun for all! Heats for this classic race will be going on throughout the day, both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday race times are scheduled for 12pm and 2pm, and Sunday at 1pm and 3pm. Contestants can register anytime throughout the fair days – registration will close 30 minutes prior to each heat.
One thing is for sure, you can bet everyone will love to watch these little tikes!

Daddy Lounge
Are you a new daddy, or maybe you know a new daddy? Then our Daddy Lounge is the place to be! While Mom and Baby shop, you are invited to come plop down in one of our kooshy chairs and sofas. Dad's will be playing video games with other new dad's on one of our many gaming stations (made available by Toys ‘R' Us and Babies ‘R' Us). You will have the opportunity to meet and talk to seasoned daddy's and check your own daddy knowledge! Study up though, there will be great prizes to be won at our own Daddy Challenges!
So Dad's – come sit back, relax and just be one of the boys.
Fashion Shows
Maternity fashion show
Just because you're expecting doesn't mean you can't expect to look great! Come to The Wichita BabyFare to see all the latest styles, hippest trends and fun new fads for maternity moms. Whether you're on a tight budget or looking to revamp your whole wardrobe, this fashion show has got something for everyone. So don't miss this event on Saturday afternoon at 1pm and 4pm, or on Sunday at 2pm. Because hey, while you may not always feel great, at least you can look great!
Toddler and Baby Fashion Shows
Tired of your little guy wearing the hand-me-downs that you once wore? Come to The Wichita BabyFare and check out the hottest new styles on the runway for newborns to toddlers. Whether you're looking for a great new onesy or that special outfit for a special occasion, this fashion show will make sure you find the clothes that will bring out your kids stunning good looks; without breaking your budget. Look for this exciting event at 1 and 4pm on Saturday, September 13th and at 2pm on Sunday, September 14th.
Raffle
There will be $1000's of dollars in merchandise that will be raffled off at the show. Raffle tickets will be on sale throughout the show days (discount on volume ticket purchases). Come enter for amazing services and merchandise from both local and national merchants! Winner's will be contacted the Monday following the show, September 15th. Also, all winner's will be posted on the website, so make sure you check back to see if you won!
Channel 96.3 - Baby Idol Contest
Do you think you have the cutest baby in Wichita? Well enter your little darlings, showing off their best gummy grin in this years Baby Idol contest; sponsored by Wichita's own radio station – Channel 96.3!!!! You will have the opportunity to submit pictures where your baby will be able to be viewed and voted on by your fellow Wichitans!!! Your baby could be the face of Wichita BabyFare 2009 and be known all over town!
